Understanding the Benefits of IV Ozone Therapy

The body produces energy needed to heal itself within the mitochondria of our cells, through a process called electron transport. Oxygen is the final electron receptor in this process – and the more oxygen, the more rapidly the body can heal. Aging and diseases of aging are caused primarily by decreased oxygen utilization, leading to excessive free radical production, resulting in degenerative disease. Ozone therapy is effective for diseases and “side effects” of aging!

How is Ozone therapy administered?

Ozone therapy can be administered in several different ways, depending on the health condition to be addressed, but IV administration is one of the most favored. The blood is then treated with ozone and then infused into the patient via an IV drip.
